Awning of corrugated iron is supported by wooden poles and a wrought iron lace balcony has washing hanging outside an open door. Next to the hotel at number 29 and 31 are two dark coloured terraces. The white terraces are numbers 17 to 27. The industrial building with the chimney is Cormack Cooperage at 15 Burns Street. A cart stands on the unsurfaced roadway.
