In Brisbane the City Ambulance Transport Brigade was started in November 1892, with the object of rendering first aid and moving invalids. They attend all race meetings and athletic sports. Lately the Government has granted an annuity of £100 a year. He was one of the early promoters and was until lately, senior officer in charge. He would be glad to give the Mayor further particulars as to the working of the Brigade.
