Directed by Minster to forward copy of verdict of Henry Shield Esq. City Coroner, with recommendations that Corporation of Sydney take immediate steps to render the fence across the bottom of Liverpool St thoroughly secure. Death of person unknown, suffocation by drowning, found 2nd May, in waters of Darling Harbor, Port Jackson. Jurors signed: John Alper Miller, Foreman, John Pullen, Patrick McConnell, WIlliam F Mitchell, Edward McEncroe, John Moffit, WiIliam Withers, Edward Rogan, B Johnson, William Burrows, A Sweetman, John F Brennan. Note: Mr Mountain , see to this at once; Memo: ACM: find that our fence is pulled down repeatedly, as soon as erected.
