I have paid a deposit on the purchase of lease, licence and goodwill of the Public House, West Coast Hotel, in Kent St, and now informed it is likely to be condemned. I have lost a good deal by it now, and it would ruin my family if the remainder was paid. Lease has but 3 years to run. Notes: Mr Sapsford to examine and report: walls sound and on solid foundations, floors vibrate slightly & out of level, ceilings low and lined with boards, roof covered with galvanised iron.
