Forwarded requisitions for 3000 ft, and taken delivery of some 70 ft, remainder rejected as not equal to sample. Causing great inconvenience, growing by the day. Recommend cancel contract and enforce penalties. Note: 1. call upon sureties at once, with necessary notice, 2. Sureties called on to complete contract : Rob't Murray, Annandale St Annandale; Wm Greenwood, "Seacombe" Croydon. Contract continued, see sureties letter.
