(Note: 30/3/65 The Engineer and the City Solicitor for report: JW. From time immemorial a common water course has discharged itself at the foot of Liverpool St into the land now owned by Mr Scott - the water course was on the solid rock and open - lately, in order to form the roadway over it and make the thoroughfare safe, pipes have been laid in the water course without deviating it in the slightest degree - or adding to the quantity of water. which nature ordained to pass that way: EB; 1/4/65.
