(Note: 20/4/65 Mr Bell for report: JW. I think it doubtful whether the Corporation has the right to removed the obstruction herein mentioned without giving compensation to the parties who would lose the approach to their houses - unless it be done under the Paving Act - which authorizes the Corporation to call on them to flag in conformity with the Act and if not done within three months afterwards the Corporation may do it but the Corporation would, in the first place, have to lay the kerb and gutter to the right alignment - this would necessitate the removal of the present footpath and steps and I question the power of the Council to remove them - EB; 21/4/65 without consent of the proprietors: EB. 27/4/65 To be informed that the M C decline taking any action in this matter unless the sanction of all the proprietors be obtained) LanguageEnglish (eng)Digitised recordYes
