(Note: In view of this fact I can recommend that the wall be built to such extent as will be necessary for retaining Macquarie Street South but am of the opinion that the alignment should be adhered to as by departing thereform serious difficulties may arise in the future notwithstanding the written statement of the reputed owner Mr Michael Healy. The cost of the work - labor chiefly - will not exceed £100: RWR; 27/6/87. 27/6/87 I approve of this work being done, care must be taken to protect all the rights of the council over the wall: AJR. 29/6/87 O/W. 30/6/87 Reply. Mr Healy informed that the wall will be built provided he will signify (in writing) his intention to remove the embankment while the work is in progress or otherwise the same to be removed at his risk and expense.
