(Note: As this footway is very little used by footpassengers on account of the extensive encroachments adjacent to this frontage I would recommend that this application be granted on the understanding however that should it be necessary to alter or amend the footway hereafter for the safety and convenience of the public, the same to be done at the expense of the applicants in an approved manner and to the satisfaction of the City Surveyor.
