When forming Park Rd, the stormwater from Oatley Rd Oxford and Regent Sts went by pipe to this drain under this road, through the range. If pipe drain is closed, without provision, all natural drainage of Park Rd from St Mathias Church to Dowling St will come here and make a swamp, the house occupied by Corp'l Lamont and his family will be uninhabitable. Request Council favourably consider this matter. Notes: HJD: Ald Kippax would like report for Thursday's meeting. City Surveyor: Instructions have been issued that pipe draining onto range be closed.
