Next to the lane entrance at 29 Flinders Street is a building erected in 1884 by D & D Russell that houses a piano shop owned by Eilder Andersen and Sons. The French Laundry of Antoine Mangold is at number 27 where a man in a suit and hat is walking along the footpath. There is a dog in the doorway of HR Paroz a bootmaker at 25 Flinders Street and a woman at an upper storey window. A woman is walking down Linden Lane with parcels. The white building in the background behind her is the rear of 322 Bourke Street.
