On the far left, across the side street of Little Hutchinson, is a single storey house at number 109 Flinders Street occupied by William Porter. On the opposite corner at number 107a Finders Street is a grocery shop operated by George Chung and Sing. It has advertising for bread, eggs, honey, ham, Hudsons Soap, and Sunlight Soap. To the right of the shop are the terraces occupied by Sara Hamilton at 107 Finders and Thomas Lewis at 105 Flinders Street with a furnished room to let sign on the window shutters.
