At the rear of number 107 Flinders Street a man sits on the footpath and talks to a man in a suit while a horse connected to a cart eats from a feedbag. There is washing on the clothesline on the opposite side of Little Hutchinson Street (a side street) at the rear of 109 Flinders Street that is occupied by William Porter. It has a sign, 'Vulcanising done'. Behind this are other buildings on Flinders Street.
