There is a ladder against the house and a woman wearing a dress and apron is holding material and appears to be cleaning the bay windows. A man is walking along the street in front of the house. Partially visible at the far left is Melrose House at 99 Flinders Street Surry Hills that was inhabited by Mrs L Muddle. Osbourne House, the property to the right at number 91 Flinders, is set back with a garden in the front and wooden fence.
