The sandstone building on the corner is located at 73 Flinders Street and occupied by Sophia Smith. On the far right with juliet balcony is the terrace at 25 Hill Street where George Mountjoy resides. The terrace houses in the background are located at numbers 76 Flinders occupied by George Stephens, and 78 Flinders occupied by Ellen McConnell. Flinders Street was originally Botany Street until 1895. -- Occupants derived from Sands Sydney, Suburban and Country Commercial Directory, 1916
