Lindsay Thompson, Surveyor General's Office, Sydney. Mrs Thompson of No 76 Princes Street has not been able to obtain any water from the Cumberland Street Main since Monday 20th August. She has employed plumber Hearle to examine the service pipe, which was found to be clear, and she has made several verbal representations at the the Town Hall which have not had any satisfactory result. There is a note from E Bell, City Engineer that one of the mains in Church Hill was discovered to be leaking at the joint, and this has now been fixed.LanguageEnglish (eng)Digitised recordYes
