Acknowledging receipt of a letter from Sydney Council which had stated that Sydney Council had received a petition praying for a new omnibus stand at the corner of George and Redfern Streets, and asking if Redfern Council thought it was necessary, and if there was any objection. Fraser writes that Redfern Council had received another petition wanting to prevent the removal of a 'bus stand in Pitt Street, and at a council meeting it had been decided that the Council was opposed to the removal of the Pitt Street stop and did not think that an additional stand was necessary.LanguageEnglish (eng)Digitised recordYes
