In order to carry out the necessary alterations to the Railway Bridge on the Ultimo Road which passes under the Darling Harbour Branch, it will be necessary to lower the road. There is notation by the City Surveyor, Thomas H Bradridge that this is necessary to obtain headway for the traffic.
