Unique IDA-00444967SeriesLetters Received from the Colonial Secretary, 1842-1859Date5th March 1855FormatVolume - HardcoverDescriptionLetter from Colonial Secretary acknowledging receipt of the Request from City Commissioners for further Payment on account of the City Sewerage and Water Supply and advising that, in pursuance of Section 9 of 18 Vic No 30, Tenders for Debentures, bearing interest at the rate of 3¼ per diem per cent and called for by a notice of 3rd January, were Received on 15th of the same month, an amount of £11,500 was accepted and Paid into Colonial Treasury and Auditor General has been instructed to prepare a Warrant for issue to City Commissioners of this sum. It is further advised that Tenders for Debentures for the Balance of the amount of £25,000 applied for by City Commissioners, namely £13,500, have again been Advertized for to be received on 12th Instant.LanguageEnglish (eng)Digitised recordYes
