On the side of the building at the far left at number 196 is advertising for Rimmins Golden Gate Sunday Shop H. Rousel. Garlings Chambers is at numbers 198 to 200 Pitt Street Sydney. Within the building are removal notice signs for the businesses of John McGrath, a Chevrolet and Cadillac car dealer and seller of Nobby tread tires; and Percy Snow a tailor. To the right of the entrance of Garlings Chambers is a sign for George Leslie Draper and Clothier on 1st floor. At street level at number 200 Pitt Street there is a confectionery shop with sweets in the window, a list of the flavours of Peters ice cream on a white post, and sales advertising for tobacco and cigars, iced fountain drinks, milkshakes, lemon squash, and Starkey's ginger beer and lemonade. A bicycle leans against a lamp post.
