Within the building are the businesses of: John McGrath, a Chevrolet and Cadillac car dealer and seller of Nobby tread tires; and Percy Snow a tailor (later cutter FJ Palmer & Sons and Farmers Ltd); and George Leslie Draper and Clothier on the first floor. At street level at number 200 Pitt Street there is a confectionery shop which is a registered milk vendor. According to signage the shop sells ice cream of various flavours, including kola, pineapple, orange, ginger ale, passion fruit, lime fruit, strawberry, raspberry, sarsaparilla, lemonade, lemon, ice cream soda, as well as Cadbury's chocolate, ice fountain drinks, milk shakes, lemon squash and displayed in the window, tobacco, cigars and cigarettes. The store on the far right has signage on the awning for Seeds and Plants and Garden.
