At the far left at numbers 359 to 361 is a building erected in 1885 with S Lester Builder and Contractor on the pediment and signage for W Kutnewsky, Furrier and Feather Expert an clearance sale. The next building with workmen seated outside is 357 Elizabeth Street and has a sign for Refreshment Rooms NSW Railways. At the top of the building is a water reservoir with signs for Leigh and Co. The building on the right is ST Leigh and Company Limited Cardboard Box Manufacturers, Printers and Lithographers which has the address of 99 to 107 Goulburn Street. There are piles of dirt along the footpath from excavations, wheelbarrow, builders tools and equipment, and toolboxes. Trams lines are in the road surface.
