At the far left in the uppers storey window is a sign for W.F. Sharp Mercantile Broker. Next to this building at number 543 George Street is the business of Pellegrini and Company selling religious statues and items. Max Gotch who is a Medical Herbalist is at 541 with a sign, 'Removing to modern premises 275 Elizabeth Street. 20 doors from Liverpool Street'. At number 539 is M Raleigh Paragon Gas Stoves, and Art Statuary who are having a re-building sale selling pictures and Florentine marble. The building which housed Christopher Stanley Shipping Providores at number 537 is vacant as per notice of removal sign.
