At the far left is a building at 169 to 171 which has signage for I Phizackerley sole importer of Talbot, Minerva and Hupmobile cars. At 159 is the factory and office of Glassford and Waicot, owners of Associated Motors Limited who are Used Car Merchants. In a section of the building with a pitched roof is faded lettering, Halls Turkish Baths. Beneath this at street level are signs for Phill Cohen, a tailor, clothes cleaner and presser, and Tennent and Jackson sign writers. On a wooden fence to the right in front of a vacant lot at 157 Elizabeth Street is advertising for the performance of Melba in That Sort and Rupert of Hentz-au. A Buick car parked on the street.
