At number 149 Bathurst Street is a grocery provisions shop run by A Forsythe with advertising for Lux soap, Piano Importers, and Lipton's Tea. Next to this is B Fienberg, a pawnbroker, who operates the businesses of Blue Streak Loan Office, a clothing store, and is a dealer in old wares located from numbers 145 to 147. This store has a logo (or lights?) of three spheres hanging metal frame above the awning. There are suitcases, clothing, and blankets stacked at the front on street level and moving notices on the windows. At number 143 is O'Keh Ty Repair Company, advertising motor tyre repairs and retreads, and repairer of tennis shoes. Non alcoholic beverages are available for sale at number 141 Bathurst Street run by Joseph Brown. On the far right at 139b is Myer Mitchell, dealer in clothing, furniture, and artificial teeth.
